I'm Naomi Van Steelandt, Broker for Key West Real Estate Company in the heart of Key West on historic Duval Street. I love the Keys and I know the Keys-I bought property here in 1984 and moved here because I love Key West. I am a Registered Nurse, University of South Florida, Class of '82.  I practiced nursing locally until 1990 until I decided taking care of houses, rather than people, was my true calling.  I took a construction course in Maine in 1990 since I wanted to be hands on with my own Real Estate investments.  I have renovated and built houses in Historic Old Town Key West since 1990.  I know what to look for in a house, whether it is the location, the quality of the building, or what it takes to make you, the homeowner or investor, happy.

In 1993, I finished renovating Center Court-Historic Inn & Cottages and opened it for business.  Since then, investment buyers have been relying on me for advice to purchase and manage their investment property.  In 2002, I started Key West Vacation Rentals & Property Management as the growing numbers of satisfied investors whose property I was managing necessitated a larger arena for guest services and check-in.  At the same time, I also formed Key West Real Estate Company to allow current owners to sell their investment property, for more investment acquisitions or for homebuyers to purchase their own investment property or personal homes.
